It's 4 am, do you konw where Cha Cha is?

The only upside about Charlotte being wide awake at 4 am this morning was the fact that Brian too had to be up then to get ready for a flight. She finally went back to sleep around 6 so I was able to get some more sleep too. I'm planning on napping when she does today.

I'm so cool!

Road Trip

Yesterday we took Charlotte on her first road trip. We all went to the Rock of Cashel which is about 2 and a half hours away. She did very well for most of the day and only melted down when we started to head home. Here is Charlotte and I in front of what is left of the high cross. It is believed that it was at the Rock of Cashel that St. Patrick picked the shamrock to symbolize the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and thus making the shamrock the unofficial symbol of Ireland.

Chatty Cha Cha

Charlotte is reading

We have been reading to Charlotte since before she was born and now she is reading on her own. She need a bit of help holding the book and pronouncing the big words but she is doing great!

Daddy's Nose

Charlotte has begun to really explore everything within her reach. Here she is exploring her daddy's nose. I think she has a pretty good grip on him.

Charlotte discovers herself

This little piggy went to market...

And this little piggy stayed home. It is a yucky day out today so Charlotte and I are staying in and having fun together. She is getting more vocal all the time and it is fun to hear all the new sounds she can make.

Charlotte's New Coat

Brian thinks she looks like a polar bear in her new coat but I think she is adorable. She just got this from her Aunt Lisa and the timing couldn't have been better...she was out growing her old coat and the winds here are so strong it make it very cold this time of year.

I want to be a Cowgirl

Once she did get up and moving, Charlotte was looking very cute in her cowgirl outfit. You can tell she is going to be lucky today from the horseshoe on her rear end.

I took Charlotte to get a check up this morning and she is now 12lbs 5oz, 22.5 inches long, and her big head is 41cm . The nurse went a head and did her 3 month check up since we were there and she was very impressed with everything Cha Cha could do even though she is only 10 weeks old. She is very advanced for her young age. '-D

Peek a Boo

Charlotte isn't much of a morning person so getting her up to eat can be difficult sometimes. This morning she was more interested in hanging out with her dad and being sunggled up in her blanket than she was about eating.

The weekend

Charlotte got two immunization shots on Friday and was out of sorts for most of the weekend so we just took it easy. Here she is cuddling with her daddy.

We told her all December that she better not pout since Santa Claus was coming to town and now that he has come and gone, Charlotte is making up for lost time. Even pouty, she is still pretty darn cute!
