Carving time!

When it came time to carve the pumpkins, Charlotte wanted nothing to do with it. She said it was too "gooey dooey" and walked off. Jane was all about it! She liked getting all the gooey dooey stuff out of the pumpkins.

Determination

Jane was determined to pull the wagon of pumpkins all the way to the car. Brian held on to the big pumpkin just so it wouldn't fall off.

She was so proud when we got to the car, she kept saying "I did it!" It was another story when she tried to load the big pumpkin into the trunk. She learned it is easier to pull something heavy than to pick up something heavy.

Pumpkin Janie

While Brian was paying for the pumpkins, Jane tried to pick out one more.

The great pumpkin

After finding the perfect pumpkin - and by perfect, I mean the biggest on in the patch, the girls worked together to try to pull the wagon. That pumpkin probably weighs as much as the two of them combined!

Pumpkin Cha Cha

After Janie took off to find more pumpkins, Brian got some great shots of Cha Cha.

Pumpkin picking

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins to carve. We (again) tried to get a cute picture of them...

I think this one is my favorite.

it never fails...

With all the new toys and fun stuff from the party to play with, it never fails that the kids just want the empty box left over to play with.

Wagons

When we got to the pumpkin patch, Janie just wanted to pull the wagon. She pulled the wagon all over the patch and would not give it up.

Cake!

After opening gifts and chaning into one of her new outfits (thanks Aunt LoLo, she loves it!) it was time for cake. She wanted a Barbie cake dreesed in pink.

Janie got excited singing "happy to you, cha cha" as her version of the song.

Not sure why, but Cha Cha used a straw to help her blow out the candles.

The cake.

The Loud Party

The day after her birthday we had what she called the "loud" party (I think because there were so many people there to celebrate!) Charlotte got dressed up in her red fairy outfit for the party and had a wonderful time.

She loved opening all the presents!! She got a new Barbie movie.

A stylish coat for this winter....

which Janie quickly claimed as her's.

One of her favorite gifts was a princess cape with a crown on the back of it. She had a bit of trouble putting the hood over the tiara she was already wearing, but still looked good in it!

4 year check up

While we waited for her doctor to check her out, Charlotte wanted to pose for some more pictures...

She was so excited to have Buzz Lightyear be her doctor today. Who knew he could save Woody and still have time to go to med school.

Cha Cha insisted that I get my picture taken with Buzz too...good thing she was there to take the picture.

During the check up we found out she is 38 inches tall (25%) and 34 pounds 6 ounces (50%).  Buzz was pleased with how well she is growing and how big she is getting.  Charlotte had a great visit until she had to get 4 immunizations done.

A checkup fit for a princess

Cha Cha had her 4 year check up this morning. She was so surprised to find Fairy Godmother and all the princesses at the doctor's office. She just had to get her picture taken with all of them!

Princess Tiana even let Charlotte hold Prince Naveen for the photo! I think she is trying to decide if she should kiss him or not.
