Picnics

The winner this year has been the picnic table. Charlotte pushed it into the kitchen for her and Jane to use and they sit at it for every meal.

I, on the other hand, think that my new camera is the big winner. I just need to work on figuring out the settings better so I can get a better picture.

Christmas Day

Amazingly the girls slept in on Christmas morning, but when Charlotte woke up she wasted no time in checking out everything Santa brought. Her and Janie got a new table to have picnics on....

and candy canes...

and a shape sorter...

and a pop up tent from Nana and Pop Pop!

Christmas Eve Snow Catching

It's hard to see them, but on December 24, I got to see my first snowfall. And even though it was my first time, I knew just what to do -- run outside and catch snowflakes on my tongue!

JJ

We tried to get a good picture of Charlotte and JJ - but neither of them was working with us.

You can dance if you want to...

One of the things I love about going to Charlotte's recitals is that you never know what you are going to get. The kids all seem to do different dances and different times and then some kids don't ever move. We had a great time watching Cha Cha and her friends today.

Charlotte clearly thinks she is the star of the show.

twisting her hips

I think Cha Cha got mad in this picture thinking her friend was trying to upstage her.

Practice makes perfect

Before the show started she practiced her dance moves

until she saw her friend Avery.

Tutu Cute

Today was Charlotte's holiday dance recital. She was looking pretty cute in her costume and loved having candy canes on her tights.

Thank you

Janie's day was so busy and so much fun she and her daddy both needed naps when it was all over.

Thank you to everyone who was able to come to the party and celebrate with me. And to those who could not make it, thank you for thinking about me enough to send gifts. It is a birthday her dad and I won't foget - I know she won't remember it but we have tons of pictures to show her how much fun it was.

It has been a great year!

Janie got a great pair of shoes from JJ and Grandaddy,
A fun new phone that lights up and plays all kinds of music,

and a ball popper that makes lots of noise when she pushes it around from Nana & Pop Pop!

Presents!

Janie enjoyed opening her gifts.

Charlotte also enjoyed opening Janie's gifts. She din't quite get that the presents were for Janie.
