Poor Baby Girl

After going to see the doctor Friday afternoon with a high fever, a cough, and a rash, Charlotte had her first trip to the ER this weekend. No, Brian and I aren't paranoid, it is just how things are done in Ireland. The doctor wanted some more tests done on her to make sure it was nothing serious. Thankfully it wasn't and she just had a viral infection. She is all better now and really looking forward to the trip this weekend.

Lazy Saturday

Miss Charlotte likes lazy Saturday afternoons. While her Mom and Dad read in bed, relax, get a brief snooze, Charlotte loves to hang out under the covers. She's learning lots about 800 thread count sheets that will serve her in her future role as Princess Cha Cha the First.

Happy Valentine's Day

Charlotte had a wonderful first Valentine's Day. She was dressed for the day in her love outfit and had a good time playing all day.

Pretty baby

I really like the way the sun is hitting Charlotte while she is on her play mat.

It's 4 am, do you konw where Cha Cha is?

The only upside about Charlotte being wide awake at 4 am this morning was the fact that Brian too had to be up then to get ready for a flight. She finally went back to sleep around 6 so I was able to get some more sleep too. I'm planning on napping when she does today.

Road Trip

Yesterday we took Charlotte on her first road trip. We all went to the Rock of Cashel which is about 2 and a half hours away. She did very well for most of the day and only melted down when we started to head home. Here is Charlotte and I in front of what is left of the high cross. It is believed that it was at the Rock of Cashel that St. Patrick picked the shamrock to symbolize the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and thus making the shamrock the unofficial symbol of Ireland.

Chatty Cha Cha

Charlotte has gotten very vocal in the past week. Brian got some fun video this morning of her chatting away. Hope you enjoy them both.
