Last night was a rough one with the kids. Both were up serveral times and all of us needed naps today.

Here are Charlotte and I "watching a movie".

And then Charlotte wanted the bike back...

Jane was not happy when Charlotte decided she wanted her bike back and started trying to tip it over.

Bike Riding

While Charlotte was playing her game, Jane took over her big sister's bike and wanted to learn how to ride.

I think she liked the bell on the bike the best.

Resting

Running around and playing took it out of Cha Cha and she needed to lay down and take a rest.

Croquet

Last night Charlotte wanted to play croquet, so after dinner Brian got it all set up for her. She was a natural!

Then she figured out she could throw the mallet and had more fun doing that than actually playing the game.

Even Janie wanted to learn to play.

Austin Children's Museum

Jane got invited to a birthday party at the Children's Museum and the kids had a blast playing around. Here are both girls just before going down the slide.



Cha Cha enjoys cooking up some fish in the kitchen there.

The exhibit this time around was "The Big Game" and as you can see, they had some big games. I've never seen connect 4 bigger than the kids playing it.

Sad Excuse for Bloggers

Okay...my sister and I have become sad excuses for bloggers. We've just been having so much fun lately! Starting new schools, learning to swim, playing with cousins, it's been a wonderful summer. We promise to write more when we get a chance!

Pool Time

Charlotte and Jane have really taken to the pool this summer. Everyday Charlotte asks if we can go to Aunt Tara's to go swimming. Jane enjoys a drink in the shallow end and Charlotte spends most her time floating and kicking aroudn with her ring.
