Brian is not back yet, but I didn't get any new pictures of the girls today so I'm posting this recent family photo in honor of

JANE'S FIRST WORDS!!!

Yepers, Jane came out with "dada" tonight. Her face lit up as she said it and I called Brian right away so he could hear it. Clearly, she is missing him and can't wait to see him in a few days.

Daddy Search

Jane has been looking for her daddy...she thinks she heard something in the toy basket....

"oh my, is my daddy in here?" she thinks...

She is doing a very good job looking in the basket....

but for all her looking in the toy basket, he was not there, leaving her to wonder "when is my daddy coming home?"

My babies

Cha Cha decided to be a baby today. She put on one of Jane's bibs and drank water from a baby bottle most the afternoon.

Emailing Daddy

This is Cha Cha writting an email to her daddy on her computer.

She started to get sad when he didn't reply back to her right away.

It made her cry.

Daddy finally wrote her back and she was so happy!

So much to discover

Jane is crawling all over the place now and gets into the oddest places. Tonight she managed to crawl under the kitchen table and just loved playing there.

Swim day & Cookies

Every Friday at the day care is splash day so Cha Cha gets excited to be able to wear her swimsuit to school. As I was getting ready this morning, Cha Cha discovered the bag of cookies on the counter and took one. So between cookies for breakfast and swimming today, I'm not sure why she is crabby in this picture, even Jane seems confused by it.

Fiber?

Tonight during storytime Jane discovered how wonderful books can be...sadly, in her world, books are wonderfully yummy.

Charlotte thought they were yummy too!

Storytime

Cha Cha loves to read and loves storytime before she goes to bed. Tonight she decided to share her love of reading with Jane. As you can see from the pictures, the stuff on the bed was far more interesting to Jane than the stories.

A new trick

Jane found the stairs tonight...I guess it is time to get out the baby gate again.

Kisses make everything better

After Jane beat up on Willie, Cha Cha came in and gave him kisses to make it all better!

Play Date

Tonight a friend and her son come over to play with us tonight. Willie is 4 months old, so just a bit younger than Jane, but they still had a good time.

Jane got a bit rough with him, and if she doesn't stop this, she may have a career in wrestling when she grows up.

Pictures for daddy

Charlotte and Jane miss their daddy now that he is gone. Here are some pictures for him and we all miss him very much.

I love how surprised Janie looks in this picture. I'm not sure what shocked her but something sure did.

Today Cha Cha had dance class so she was all dolled up in her leotard and tutu.

Sad Cha Cha

First off, the bandaid on Cha Cha's forehead is nothing. She bumped her head on the coffee table on Saturday and just had to have a bandaid; now she won't let me take it off. I'm hoping it falls off very soon on its own.

Secondly, as you can see, Cha Cha is sad Brian is gone. This is her sad face.
