Mommy puts in extra effort every day to make sure I look my best. She's a mommy and a hair stylist all in one, and I get her for free! Did I work out a good deal or what?

It is rare that me, mommy, and daddy get to be in pictures together but we managed to get on on Easter Sunday before we went to church.

Easter Weekend

 

For Easter weekend we went to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Here I am sitting near the bluebonnets. I thought they were really pretty.

My Easter Bonnet and Mom

 

I was in an Easter Bonnet Parade so mommy made a beautiful hat to wear. Here we are together enjoying the day.

Children's Museum

 

Also in Houston, I went to the children's museum. Here I am in the school room. I've never seen a school room like this one. My room at school is full of toys and the tables and chairs are more my height.

I like fountains!

I love water. It's my favorite element and without it I'd dry up and blow away. So any chance to play in the water is good times -- and watch this video to see what I mean!

Funny Water

 

Mommy and Dadddy took me to see the funny water while we were in Houston visiting JJ and Grandaddy. I never knew when the water was going to come up out of the ground or how high it was going to go. I had so much fun playing in the funny water and thankfully mom was smart enough to bring me more clothes since I was soaking wet by the time I was done!

I got my picture taken with a bunny for Easter. As you can see I liked the bunny but not enough to get any closer than I am.

Does Charlotte like Bubbles?

Mommy and Daddy wondered whether I'd like bubbles. This video tells it all!

I'm the lawn crew

 

Daddy says that I'm the official lawn crew. As you can see, I'm very dedicated -- dressed in my Sunday best and still working in the yard!

Think, Think, Think

 

For the family and friends who have been to the house, you know that instead of using the space that should be the formal living and dining room as it is intended, mommy and daddy instead use it as a place to put the ladder. I have recently discovered the ladder in this big empty room and have now made it my thinking spot. I like to climb into the ladder and think about the many, many complex matters that occur in my day to day life. "Should I drink my milk, or throw it on the floor?" "Should I be good at day care or should I be fussy today?" "Should I wake up momomy at 2 am or 4 am?" It is a wonderful thinking spot and I suggest everyone who comes over to visit and play should try it.

Mmmmmm...Icing!

 

Last weekend mommy helped one of her friends decorate a cake. I was being so good that they let me have some of the icing. It was so yummy and every time I asked for more, I got some. It was fun icing too since it was different colors. I didn't always get it in my mouth but it is hard to aim when you are on a sugar high.

Fish Face

 

I'm full of new tricks these days. Here I am making fish faces at mom and dad.

Me and my Daddy

 

I love to play games with my daddy. I had just taken off his glasses before mommy took this picture of us. Daddy keeps telling me "no" when I try to take his glasses, but I think it is fun so I keep doing it.
