Chalrlotte is now 1 month old. I can't believe how big she is getting! I took her to get weighed and measured today and she is now 10 pounds and 21 inches long! She is doing great and the nurses are pleased with how much she is growing.
Mom and Dad headed back to Houston this morning. Saying goodbye was not fun or easy to do, but it has been a wonderful month with them here. All three of us appreciate everything they did for us while they were here. Cha Cha is going to miss them very much as will Brian and I.
In honor of their departure, I thought I would post this photo of them with Charlotte. I bet mom is glad that no more pictures of her will be posted for a while. ;-D
Happy Thanksgiving! Here is Brian with our turkey. Everything turned out great and we had a wonderful dinner. Hope everyone else had a good Thanksgiving as well.
After a nice lunch with everyone at a local Italian restaurant, we sat down and had some christening cake. This is the first cake Erin has baked for Charlotte, and I suspect it won't be the last. Sadly, Charlotte was asleep, so she didn't get any cake.
Charlotte got christened today -- the vicar mentioned that she was the youngest child he's christened. She was good as gold, quiet throughout the service and no complaints as her head was wet. So now she's a bona fide Anglican and much of the Nordaker clan was there to celebrate.
Charlotte has met a cousin -- Jake, the son of Erin's sister Tara. They're over for a week for visits with Charlotte. Charlotte is getting along with Jake pretty well.
Courtesy of Miss Creekmore, Charlotte has discovered a new friend in the nursery. She seems more than a little intrigued by her new cribmate and I think they might be friends for life.
