The school the kids go to had a Halloween party on Charlotte's Birthday. Charlotte was so excited that all her friends were going to a party for her and bringing her presents - it took some effort, but I finally managed to convince her that it was not a birthday party and all her friends were not bringing her gifts. Once she got over not getting 30 more presents, she was excited for the party.
I am on the events committee that planned the event and originally we were getting parents to decorate the trunk of their cars so the kids could trick or "trunk" and stock up on all kinds of goodies. However, Mother Nature kicked up the winds and so we moved everything inside and it was a great party. All the kids walked away with tons of candy and pencils and games.
Charlotte found her favorites at this bucket and hung out for a while here getting handful after handful.

Janie and her friend preferred this bucket of goodies. Her friend had my favorite costume of the night as he dressed up as a Chilian miner (his mom is from Chile so that just made it even better!).

The Round Rock Fire Department is located across the street from their school and the kids love seeing the firemen and the big trucks when they are outside. Another parent on the events committee got the firemen to come to the party with a truck and the kids had a blast!

Janie got in on the fun too!
