Not quite fishing

After all the rain Round Rock had the place where Brian and Cha Cha went fishing got messed up from a bunch of rocks that were swept into the river. The good news is that it is still a good place to go and have fun.

Charlotte got to wade in the water and sit on the round rock that the city is named after.

No body puts baby in the corner?

Jane found a new play place today. She thinks it is too funny to run in and out of this little nook.

and then I think she put herself in time out.

Janie's turn.

Janie wanted to race too. She was pretty cute throughout the races.

She even managed to get a cute cowboy to run beside her and cheer her on!

On your mark

Once Janie settled down and the girls got some lunch, it was off to the stick horse races.

Charlotte is either way ahead of everyone or well behind the other kids...you decide.

after the horses

Janie was not impressed with being taken off the horses. She cried for about 20 minutes and kept screaming "I ride horsey!" It was so sad.

Charlotte on the other hand, was just fine getting off the horse since she got her cowgirl hat back.+

"I ride horsey!"

Charlotte really enjoyed riding the horses, but Janie LOVED it! She was a natural up there.

and yeah, the fuzzy boots were kicked off shortly after getting there since it was about 90 degrees and Jane got hot.

Cowgirls

We took the kids out to the Georgetown Chislom Trail ride the other weekend. Cha Cha was very excited to wear her hat and boots. Janie wanted to wear her boots too but these fuzzy ones were the only pair we have that fit her.

At the event, the girls got to ride horses. Charlotte love it!

the best daddy ever!

Before we headed home, Brian helped Charlotte climb a tree. She was pretty worried that she'd fall even though Brian was right behind her the whole time.

Cha Cha pretty much thinks her dad is the best daddy in the whole world!

Who needs foam?

Jane didn't care too much about the foam pitt, all she wanted was watermelon!

and more watermelon...

While Cha Cha played with foam...

Janie choose to have more sno-cone.

And then take a walk with her sno-cone.

more Labor Day

Jane and Charlotte got thirsty after all the bouncing so we had a sno-cone that they shared.

Then it was off to the bubble foam pitt. At first, Charlotte was a bit concerned with it...

Then she got closer....

And then she loved it!
