Funny Water

 

Mommy and Dadddy took me to see the funny water while we were in Houston visiting JJ and Grandaddy. I never knew when the water was going to come up out of the ground or how high it was going to go. I had so much fun playing in the funny water and thankfully mom was smart enough to bring me more clothes since I was soaking wet by the time I was done!

I got my picture taken with a bunny for Easter. As you can see I liked the bunny but not enough to get any closer than I am.

Mommy and Daddy wondered whether I'd like bubbles. This video tells it all!

I'm the lawn crew

 

Daddy says that I'm the official lawn crew. As you can see, I'm very dedicated -- dressed in my Sunday best and still working in the yard!

Think, Think, Think

 

For the family and friends who have been to the house, you know that instead of using the space that should be the formal living and dining room as it is intended, mommy and daddy instead use it as a place to put the ladder. I have recently discovered the ladder in this big empty room and have now made it my thinking spot. I like to climb into the ladder and think about the many, many complex matters that occur in my day to day life. "Should I drink my milk, or throw it on the floor?" "Should I be good at day care or should I be fussy today?" "Should I wake up momomy at 2 am or 4 am?" It is a wonderful thinking spot and I suggest everyone who comes over to visit and play should try it.

Mmmmmm...Icing!

 

Last weekend mommy helped one of her friends decorate a cake. I was being so good that they let me have some of the icing. It was so yummy and every time I asked for more, I got some. It was fun icing too since it was different colors. I didn't always get it in my mouth but it is hard to aim when you are on a sugar high.

I'm full of new tricks these days. Here I am making fish faces at mom and dad.

Me and my Daddy

 

I love to play games with my daddy. I had just taken off his glasses before mommy took this picture of us. Daddy keeps telling me "no" when I try to take his glasses, but I think it is fun so I keep doing it.

What's this stuff for?

 

Daddy tells me that I need to be thinking about potty training. I don't know what he means. But I do know that somehow it involves this white papery stuff, so I took some out and walked around the house with it for HOURS, trying to figure out how to use it.

My Own Chair!

 

I got many good gifts this year for Christmas and one of my favorites is this pretty chair. It is just my size and I don't need mommy or daddy to help me get in or out of it. It even says "Charlie" on the back of it so I know it is mine.

Daddy and I go sliding!

At first sliding looked scary. When Daddy asked me if I wanted to go, I shook my head "No." But once he kept me safe, I couldn't get enough sliding! We slid again and again and now the slide (as long as Daddy holds me) is my favorite part of the playground.

 

Charlotte Starts to Drive

 

My daddy says that every kid wants to drive. But I think I'm doing a great job by starting to drive so early!

Lights in Zilker Park

 

This year Mommy and Daddy took me to see lots and lots of lights in Zilker Park. I don't really understand why there were so many lights. And people. And dogs. And noisy musical instruments. But even though it was cold, windy, and crowded, I still had fun. But toward the end, I got more interested in little rocks instead of lights, so I'm looking for rocks in this picture!

Yesterday mom and dad took me to Gruene, Texas where there was a Christmas market. We had a fun day seeing all the Christmas decorations and shopping. Here are mom and I just before we left and headed back home.
