My new hair do

 

My teachers at school don't like my hair getting in my eyes so they pulled it up into a pony tail the other day. Mom thinks it looks funny and dad says I look like a cartoon character named Jimmy Neutron. I like that it is fun to play with. There are more pitcures of my hair in the album. What do you think of my new hair do?

Today mom and dad took me to see some horses in Georgetown. This picture was taken right after the horsey kissed me. I was kind of stunned and didn't know what to think. But all in all, for my first time with a horse, I liked it.

I'm a big girl now!

 

Today was my first day in my big girl car seat. I no longer have to face backwards and get all hot and carsick! It is hard to tell in the picture since I have a plug in my mouth but I am smiling. I giggled and kicked my feet all the way to school this morning.

This is how I love my Mommy. We have loads of fun together but once in a while we have a quiet moment together and this is one of the best ones ever.

Me and G-Grandmom Virginia

 

Great-Grandmom Virginia and I are big buddies. The whole family took me to the retirement home to show me off and I met all kinds of wrinkly people. But I had big fun climbing around on quilts, being the most important person in the room, and showing off how I am so good at crawling. Great-Grandmom Virginia thought I was, if I say so, the stuff. We have a lot in common -- we're both very cute, a little plump, have little teeth and fluffy hair. I miss her and want to see her soon!

This is Charlotte typing. Now that I'm ten months old, I can write my own blog, I don't need Mommy and Daddy to do it anymore. I'm a big girl. This is a good look at Charlotte when she's being normal: laughing and smiling. She's unusually good tempered and laughs frequently, sometimes at the simplest things. She has an odd sense of humor, as she thinks it's funny when people wiggle their fingers at her or growl like bears. She also thinks that the word "No" is funny.

We might be resident in Texas, but when Charlotte starts using her University of Tennessee bottle, she has to sing "Rocky Top"!

Charlotte's had a hard night partying in her crib and you can definitely see it in her eyes. The papparazzi snapped this photo before she could put her hand up to spoil it. You can also see she has a big handbag habit that's hard to brake.

We've moved into the new apartment and Charlotte, for the first time, has a really nice area to play. We can shut the gate to keep her from getting into trouble.

Charlotte's an expert bowler. And since she was at the bowling alley on 7:07:07pm on the 7th of July, 2007, the alley gave her a pin to remember the occasion. It's her first trophy!

Charlotte's in the States just in time for her first Fourth of July. And she picked out a dress for the occasion!
